Statue of William H. Seward (New York City)

This bronze monument depicts William H. Seward, the former New York governor and United States Secretary of State who served under Abraham Lincoln. Dedicated in 1876, the sculpture holds the distinction of being the first monument in New York City to honor a New Yorker.
