Yeshiva University Museum

The Yeshiva University Museum serves as the cultural arm of its namesake institution and occupies a significant place within the Center for Jewish History. While it was founded in 1973 on the university's Washington Heights campus, it moved to this location on 16th Street in 2000 to become a cornerstone of a major research hub. It holds a collection of over 10,000 artifacts that span 5,000 years of global Jewish experience. These items range from delicate archaeological finds from the Bronze Age to elaborate folk art and traditional ceremonial textiles.
