Les Passerelles sits where the Thiou River flows out of Lake Annecy, marked by its sharp, angular glass facades that mirror the surrounding mountain peaks. This residential and commercial complex replaced a cluster of old industrial warehouses that had stood here for decades. When the project began, planners chose to elevate the ground floor to create open walkways, allowing people to pass freely from the street directly to the water's edge, reconnecting the city to a riverfront once hidden by factory walls.
