The Musée Zadkine occupies the former home and studio of sculptor Ossip Zadkine. Its most distinctive feature is the glass-walled workshop that keeps the garden visible from the interior, blurring the line between the workspace and the nature outside. Zadkine lived and worked here for over thirty years, surrounding himself with his own creations. After his death in nineteen sixty-seven, his wife Valentine Prax ensured the site became a museum, preserving the very space where he carved wood and stone for decades.
