The Théâtre des Capucines began its life in 1889 as a modest lecture hall carved into the courtyard of an old store called A la ville de Lyon. The venue initially hosted prominent thinkers and scientists, including astronomer Camille Flammarion, before the legendary Isola brothers took control and converted the space into a theater for magic shows.
