Bourse de Commerce - Pinault Collection

The Bourse de Commerce is a circular building topped by a massive glass and iron dome. It began as a grain exchange in eighteen eighty-nine, designed to handle the heavy trade of a growing city. Inside, a concrete cylinder now sits within the original rotunda, creating a gallery space for the Pinault Collection. When the renovation finished in twenty twenty-one, workers revealed a grand fresco circling the dome that depicts the history of global trade, showing continents and ships once connected by the grain market.
