Arts et Métiers ParisTech

educational

Arts et Métiers ParisTech stands on a site that once functioned as a bustling horse market before its transformation into a center of engineering excellence. Architect Georges Roussi designed the current campus between nineteen ten and nineteen twelve, choosing a distinct blend of materials. You will see rugged meulière stone combined with industrial brick, creating an aesthetic that bridges traditional masonry and the functional demands of a technical school. This campus serves as the Parisian home for an institution that traces its roots back to seventeen eighty, when it was founded to provide mechanical training to the children of soldiers.
