Frankie's Street Shawarma - Osu

The storefront glows with a bright, vertical light box displaying a rotating vertical spit of marinated meat. Frankie’s started as a small Lebanese kitchen in Accra and eventually became a staple for late-night crowds in Osu. People line up here long after midnight to order wraps filled with shaved chicken, garlic sauce, and pickled vegetables. This spot earned its reputation during the early two thousands when the area transitioned into the city’s primary nightlife hub, feeding hungry dancers before they headed home.
