Osu Eben-ezer Presbyterian Church

The Osu Eben-ezer Presbyterian Church features a high, square bell tower and prominent white exterior walls that contrast sharply with the coastal humidity. Built by Basel missionaries in the mid-nineteenth century, the structure served the Osu community as a center for education and religious life. In nineteen eighty-two, a severe earthquake caused significant damage to the walls, leading to a long period of repair. Today, the church remains a center for the Ga-speaking congregation that has worshipped here for generations.
