Koala Shopping Mall

The Koala Shopping Mall in Osu is a low-slung, white building marked by a prominent, circular glass facade that curves toward the street corner. It began as a small shop founded by Imad Wolley in the nineteen nineties, growing alongside the changing retail habits of Accra. In twenty fourteen, the store became the site of a widely publicized robbery attempt involving an armed group, which brought significant attention to the security measures used by private businesses in the capital.
