Tellalzade Sokak is the narrow, cobblestone passage lined with high-ceilinged storefronts packed floor to ceiling with antique furniture, vintage clocks, and stacks of old vinyl records. This street grew into the center of the Kadıköy antique trade after dealers moved their collections here during the late nineteen nineties. Shopkeepers often spend their days sitting on low stools outside, waiting for collectors to hunt through the wooden crates and brass trinkets spilling out onto the pavement from the cramped, dim storefronts.
