Yanyalı Fehmi Lokantası features a row of large, glass-fronted display cases showcasing dozens of traditional cooked dishes in metal trays. Since nineteen nineteen, the restaurant has operated on this corner, moving from its original stall to this space while maintaining the recipes of its founder, Fehmi Efendi. He arrived in Istanbul as a refugee from the city of Yanina, and he built this business by serving the specific vegetable and meat stews from his home region to the people of Kadıköy.
