Cadogan Hall

The building that now houses Cadogan Hall began its life in nineteen eleven as the home of the First Church of Christ Scientist. It was constructed in the Byzantine style, which was a bold departure from the standard ecclesiastical architecture of the era. The architect, Robert Frank Chisholm, incorporated a massive dome and intricate brickwork that made the structure stand out against the more traditional Victorian residential surroundings of Chelsea.
