Camden Town Hall

Camden Town Hall was originally built as St Pancras Town Hall and officially opened in 1937 to replace older, inadequate vestry offices. Its architect, Albert Thomas, utilized a neoclassical style to craft the building, cladding a steel frame in durable Portland stone. This location required the demolition of original Georgian terraced housing that once stood on the site along the Euston Road. You can still see the borough coat of arms carved directly into the stone facade above the central first-floor window.
