George Myers was a builder who helped define the look of Victorian London. He is often called Pugin's builder because of his extensive partnership with the famous architect Augustus Pugin. Myers was not just a contractor but a master craftsman capable of translating complex Gothic designs into reality for hundreds of churches and grand buildings across the city. His influence was so widespread that it remains difficult to walk through many parts of London without passing a structure he helped bring to life.
