The Handel Hendrix House brings together two musical icons who occupied these adjacent townhouses two centuries apart. George Frideric Handel moved into number 25 Brook Street in 1723, becoming the building's very first resident. He lived there until his death in 1759, transforming the space into a creative hub where he composed his most celebrated oratorios and ceremonial anthems. The rooms today have been restored to reflect the Georgian era, offering a glimpse into the domestic life of a man who served as composer to the Chapel Royal and reshaped the sound of the eighteenth century.
