Underbelly Boulevard Soho occupies a site with a transformation story unlike almost any other venue in London. The location began as a brothel before being converted into a sister venue to the legendary Raymond Revuebar by Paul Raymond, the man often called the King of Soho. Throughout the late twentieth century, this space hosted everything from striptease acts to the early performances of the influential comedy troupe The Comic Strip and Eddie Izzard.
