Comstock Saloon

landmark

The Comstock Saloon is a survivor from the Barbary Coast era, standing on a plot of land that has served as a drinking establishment for over a century. The current building rose from the ashes of the 1906 earthquake and opened its doors as the Andromeda Saloon in 1907. While the city around it has transformed, this corner remains a time capsule that bridges the gap between the days of Gold Rush prospectors and the modern cocktail revival.
