The Batteries to Bluffs Trail holds a unique status for being one of the most logistically complex trail projects in the region. To solve this, crews utilized helicopters to deliver pre-cut construction materials directly to the rugged coastal bluffs. This effort successfully established a sustainable path that avoids the sensitive habitat while allowing hikers to traverse the steep terrain.
