Able Baker Brewing anchors a corner of the Arts District with a pair of twenty-foot stainless steel fermenters visible through floor-to-ceiling glass. The brewery takes its name from the code names for the first two atomic tests conducted at the Nevada Test Site in nineteen forty-six. James Manos, a nuclear engineer by trade, opened the facility to apply his technical background to beer recipes. The industrial equipment hums alongside rows of seating, holding a constant, calculated temperature for the brewing process.
