Vintage Vegas Antiques occupies a low-slung, cinderblock building distinguished by the faded, hand-painted signage cluttering its front windows. Inside, owner Tim Burke maintains a collection of mid-century neon signs, slot machine parts, and casino chips salvaged from the demolition of downtown hotels. When the Sands or the Stardust came down, local scrappers often brought the debris directly to his doorstep. The shop serves as a private archive for the pieces of the city that developers decided to clear away decades ago.
