The event you are interested in, known as the Fight of the Century, took place inside Madison Square Garden on March 8, 1971. This historic heavyweight championship bout pitted the undefeated Muhammad Ali against the undefeated Joe Frazier. It was the first time in history that two undefeated heavyweight champions faced one another for the title.
