Houghton Hall Arts Community

Houghton Hall Arts Community serves as a creative hub for performing artists, providing seventeen thousand square feet of rehearsal rooms, acting studios, and collaborative workspace. Located at twenty-two East 30th Street in the NoMad neighborhood, it occupies a building owned by the Church of the Transfiguration. This church maintains a long-standing reputation as the Little Church Around the Corner, a site historically recognized for its early support of the theatrical community when other institutions often shunned actors. By hosting this arts center, the church continues a tradition of providing a sanctuary for those working in the performing arts in New York City.
