The Paramount

The Paramount Building at fifteen hundred one Broadway is an iconic fixture of the Times Square skyline. Constructed between nineteen twenty-five and nineteen twenty-seven, it served as the original headquarters for Paramount Pictures. The building is famous for its massive four-faced clock at the top, which features stars instead of numbers as a direct nod to the company logo. During the second world war, the clock and the crowning glass globe above it were blacked out to comply with wartime dim-out regulations.
