Felix M. Warburg House

The Felix M. Warburg House stands as a massive monument to the Gilded Age, dominating the corner of Fifth Avenue and 92nd Street. Completed in 1908, this limestone mansion was designed by architect C. P. H. Gilbert to resemble a French Renaissance chateau. The home originally spanned 52,000 square feet, an immense size that reflected the status of its owner, the financier and philanthropist Felix M. Warburg. It remains the largest mansion still standing in Manhattan today.
