The white, tent-like fabric sails stretching across the roof define Marina Mirage. Opened in nineteen eighty-eight, this shopping center was designed to resemble a fleet of yachts moored on the Broadwater. Developer Peter Kurts wanted a structure that matched the luxury boats tied up at the docks right outside. The complex holds a collection of high-end boutiques and waterfront restaurants that cater to the boat owners pulling into the marina slips throughout the day.
