Paradise Towers rises with an unmistakable mid-century silhouette, defined by its stark white facade and the grid of geometric balconies overlooking the street. Built in nineteen sixty-two, it arrived when the Gold Coast was transforming from a sleepy coastline into a high-rise destination. While other buildings focused on luxury for tourists, this structure prioritized permanent residents. Developer Jim Cavill wanted a concrete landmark that could withstand the salt air, and he ended up creating a piece of local history that remains largely unchanged.
