Tirol Panorama and Kaiserjäger Museum

The Tirol Panorama building sits atop Bergisel Hill, marked by a long, cantilevered roof that stretches toward the Inn Valley. It houses a massive circular painting depicting the eighteen oh nine battle where local farmers and marksmen defeated Bavarian and French troops. Inside the adjacent Kaiserjäger Museum, the walls hold personal letters and rusted rifles from soldiers who fought in those same mountain passes. A commander once surrendered here, leaving his sword on a table before retreating into the history books.
