Stylegarage occupies a storefront on the corner of Ossington and Argyle with large, clean glass windows that reveal custom-made, solid wood furniture. This shop began in two thousand two when Scott Morrison decided to bridge the gap between mass-market retailers and high-end design houses. He wanted to keep production local, so he worked with small factories in Toronto to build pieces using Canadian walnut and maple. Craftsmen still weld the steel frames and finish the wood surfaces by hand here in the city.
