A bright yellow streetcar body sits on a patch of grass in a residential backyard, its windows still framed in faded wood. This is a nineteen-twenties Toronto Transit Commission vehicle, rescued from a farm field in the late nineteen-seventies. Harry McBrien bought the derelict shell for three hundred dollars and moved it here to house his collection of antique tools. It remains a rare surviving example of the wooden cars that moved passengers across the city nearly a century ago.
