Mural Privado HTM

The Mural Privado HTM features a bold, geometric explosion of color painted directly onto a stark concrete wall in central Quito. This artwork emerged from a collaboration between local urban artists and the building owners to replace a recurring target for graffiti with a managed, vibrant aesthetic. It serves as a visual anchor for the neighborhood, blending street art culture with private property management. Hugo Toapanta, the lead artist, spent two weeks finishing the intricate patterns while residents watched from their balconies.
