FUNDACIÓN ZALDUMBIDE ROSALES

The Casa Museo Zaldumbide Rosales features a distinctive blue facade that sets it apart from the colonial white walls of Quito. This house served as the home for Gonzalo Zaldumbide, a twentieth century Ecuadorian diplomat and writer known for his sharp literary criticism. Zaldumbide filled these rooms with his extensive library and a collection of colonial art. He invited intellectual figures to gather here, turning a private residence into a hub for Ecuadorian literature and thought during the middle of the last century.
