The Alhambra Theater sits on rue de Malte with a curved, white facade that stands out against the surrounding brickwork. It opened in nineteen oh six as a massive music hall, famous for its grand stage and the sheer number of performers it could host. During its peak, the music hall stage hosted icons like Mistinguett and Maurice Chevalier. The theater closed in nineteen sixty-seven, eventually falling to the wrecking ball, before a new, modern structure took its place in two thousand eight.
