The mural of Laurent Barthélémy Ani Guibahi occupies a high, blank wall on the Rue d'Aubervilliers. It shows the face of a fourteen-year-old boy from Ivory Coast who died in January two thousand twenty, found in the landing gear of a plane arriving at Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport. The artist, Qezako, painted the portrait using soft, muted colors, giving the boy a quiet presence above the busy street. It marks the spot where his story entered the public consciousness.
