The Théâtre La Divine Comédie is marked by a deep, narrow red-brick facade tucked along the Rue Saint-Lazare. It serves as an intimate performance space, salvaged from the remnants of an old religious library. In two thousand sixteen, actor and director Valéry Forestier transformed the hollowed-out space, stripping back layers to reveal the original stone and raw structure. He aimed to create a theater where audiences sit within arm's reach of the performers, removing the traditional distance of the proscenium stage.
