Cour des sculpteurs

The Cour des Sculpteurs is a quiet, hidden passage tucked away from the main streets of the Bastille. It features a series of narrow, studio-style buildings with large windows that once housed metal workers and stone carvers. In the late nineteen seventies, the city turned these industrial workshops into living and working spaces for local artists. One sculptor lived here for years, dragging massive slabs of marble through the narrow entrance, leaving the concrete floor permanently scarred by the weight of his work.
