Esplanade David Ben Gourion

The Esplanade David Ben Gourion sits along the left bank of the Seine, directly facing the Trocadero and the Eiffel Tower. It received its name in April of two thousand ten to honor the founding prime minister of Israel. The dedication ceremony was led by the mayor of Paris, Bertrand Delanoe, and attended by the then president of Israel, Shimon Peres. Its location by the river provides a view of the city center that remains one of the most photographed vistas in the capital.
