Salle des Concerts Herz

The Salle des Concerts Herz was a private concert hall built in eighteen thirty-eight by the virtuoso pianist and piano manufacturer Henri Herz. Located on the rue de la Victoire, it served as an intimate stage for the Parisian musical elite. Herz designed the hall specifically to showcase his own instruments, effectively creating a dedicated home for his specialized piano school and his successful manufacturing business. The building was more than just a performance space, as it functioned as a hub for both the production and promotion of Herz's piano innovations.
