The building you are approaching at one rue de la Perle is the Hotel Liberal Bruant. It served as the private residence for the architect who designed Les Invalides, Libéral Bruant, in the late seventeenth century. The facade is notable for its series of stone rondels decorated with carvings of cornucopias.
