The Pavillon Ledoyen holds a distinct place in Parisian history as a site where personal and political turning points have unfolded for over two centuries. In the mid-nineteenth century, this building served as a reconciliation spot for duellists. After settling their disputes with pistols in the nearby woods of the Bois de Boulogne, the participants frequently traveled here to share a breakfast and mend their relationships.
