Grey Area (gallery)

Grey Area functions as a specialized editions and multiples project that reimagines how contemporary art is produced and shared. Founded in 2006, the gallery moves away from the traditional model of selling singular, high-priced works to focus on commissioning limited edition pieces created in close collaboration with artists. By working directly with artists to develop ideas specifically for these limited multiples, the project maintains small production runs and utilizes both new and traditional fabrication processes. This approach prioritizes the artist's conceptual vision while keeping the resulting artworks accessible to a wider audience. Each project often culminates in an exhibition at their Paris space, serving as a physical showcase for these unique creative collaborations.
