Despite the name on the facade, you will find no gambling tables inside the Casino de Paris. This grand venue is a historic music hall rather than a place to wager money. It has occupied this spot at sixteen Rue de Clichy since the late nineteenth century, though its roots as a site for entertainment stretch back even further to the seventeen thirties when the Duke of Richelieu first commissioned a theater here.
