Notre-Dame-de-l'Arche-d'Alliance is a striking example of late twentieth-century architecture that breaks away from traditional church designs. Completed in 1998, the building is shaped as a perfect cube, measuring eighteen meters on each side. Its exterior is wrapped in a distinctive metallic mesh that creates a soft transition between the solid structure and the surrounding urban environment. The church sits elevated on twelve pillars, a deliberate architectural choice that symbolizes the twelve tribes of Israel and the twelve apostles. This elevated design creates an illusion of the building floating above the ground. The entire facade is covered in an inscription of the Hail Mary prayer, and at night, the steel framework catches the light to make the structure glow.
