Dargah Qadam Rasool

religious

Dargah Qadam Rasool features a set of footprints pressed into a block of black marble. These prints are said to be the Prophet Muhammad’s, brought to Jaipur by a devout merchant from the Hejaz region in the eighteenth century. Sawai Jai Singh, the city’s founder, granted the land for this shrine to house the relic, cementing its place as a center of local veneration. Devotees still visit today to touch the stone and leave offerings on the patterned floor surrounding it.
