Philbeach Gardens

Philbeach Gardens occupies what was once a sprawling agricultural estate. For centuries, this land belonged to the Earl’s Court Farm, which remained a productive working farm until the mid nineteenth century. The development you see today was built on this site starting in 1876, fueled by the expansion of the nearby railway which transformed the area from a rural pocket into a dense Victorian suburb. The name itself reflects the heritage of the landowner, Lord Kensington, whose family roots traced back to the village of Philbeach in Pembrokeshire, Wales.
