Stone Buildings

Stone Buildings stands as a grand, austere range of chambers within the historic Lincoln's Inn legal enclave. Designed by Sir Robert Taylor and built between seventeen seventy-four and seventeen eighty, these structures were intended to be the start of a total reconstruction of the site in stone. This ambitious plan failed when the Inn ran out of money, leaving Stone Buildings as a lonely, elegant reminder of a vision that never reached fruition.
