The Peña Flamenca de Londres functions as the oldest and largest flamenco club in the United Kingdom. Founded in nineteen eighty-four, this member-run organization operates as a community arts group, designed to mirror the traditional peñas found in Spain where enthusiasts gather in an intimate setting to celebrate music, song, and dance. While it now hosts its monthly events at the Church Hall of the Holy Apostles on Cumberland Street in Pimlico, the club has occupied various legendary spaces across London throughout its four-decade history, beginning in the basement of the Covent Garden Community Centre.
