Lord's Pavilion

The Lord's Pavilion stands as the architectural heart of the Home of Cricket. Designed by Thomas Verity and completed in 1890, this Victorian structure is the third of its kind to occupy this site. Its predecessor was dismantled and moved to a Sussex estate, where it ended its life as a garden shed. The current building was constructed for twenty-one thousand pounds and remains the oldest structure at the ground, distinguished by its iconic terracotta facade and asymmetrical design.
