San Francisco War Memorial and Performing Arts Center

The San Francisco War Memorial and Performing Arts Center was born from a post-World War I movement to honor those who served. This vision resulted in a grand complex that occupies two city blocks and features mirror-image buildings separated by a formal courtyard, intended to complement the nearby City Hall.
