Flour Mill Condominium

The Flour Mill Condominium stands apart with its massive, weathered red brick walls and the distinct, sawtooth roofline that slices into the Georgetown skyline. Built in the mid-nineteenth century as a steam-powered flour mill, the structure processed thousands of barrels of grain arriving by the nearby canal. While other mills burned down or crumbled into the Potomac, this warehouse persisted through decades of industrial decline, eventually holding onto its rugged machinery long after the last bags of flour left the docks.
